The children at school have produced a sculpture in the style of local artist Sandy Brown. It was part of a week of the art week activities for the children. A recent visit to the Sandy Brown gallery in Appledore inspired the children to produce this striking piece of work.
The school sculpture, which is now sitting proudly in the school lobby, was made by baking salt dough rings which were then carefully painted and placed on poles coming from a tree trunk base.
